Biographie
Marc Pilon, Ph.D., CPA, CA, est un professeur adjoint dans la Faculté de gestion. Il donne des cours de comptabilité financière et de certification en français et en anglais. Il a obtenu son doctorat en 2019 de la Sprott School of Business de l’Université Carleton et a obtenu son titre de comptable professionnel agréé en 2009. Avant de se joindre à l’Université Laurentienne, Marc a travaillé 8 ans en comptabilité publique et a acquis de l'expérience dans les secteurs financier, sans but lucratif, et public.
Recherche
La recherche de Marc porte sur la gouvernance et la responsabilité des organismes sans but lucratif. Sa thèse s’intitulait : Accountability in Ontario’s Health Care System: The Role of Governance and Information in Managing Stakeholder Demands.
