Capital Market Analysis

This course provides the student with the necessary background to analyze the developments in Canadian capital markets. It covers such topics as: the nature and role of the capital markets; financial flow accounts as an analytical tool; interest rates and their relation to maturity, marketability, risk, scalability ad taxability; and the study of capital markets with emphasis on demand for and supply of funds in those markets. 3 credits.
